Assistant Leader/Pastor

We’re Hiring: Assistant Leader/Pastor (Full or Part-Time)

LifeChurch Brackley | 18.75–40 hours per week | £38,000 (pro rata)

Are you passionate about Jesus, people, and the local church? Do you feel called to help build authentic community, invest in the next generation, and support others in their walk with Christ? If so, LifeChurch Brackley is looking for you!
We’re seeking a part-time Assistant Leader/Pastor to join our team and help us grow a Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, Bible-based community. This is a dynamic and relational role focused on pastoral care, youth ministry, outreach, and discipleship—with flexibility to shape responsibilities around your strengths and calling.

About Us

LifeChurch Brackley is a vibrant, independent evangelical church passionate about knowing Jesus and making Him known. We’re rooted in the truth of God’s Word, dependent on the Holy Spirit, and committed to building strong relationships—both inside and outside the church.
We’re here to glorify God by making disciples who love Jesus and serve others. Our ministries span all generations, and we’re especially excited about investing in the lives of young people and families in our town.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of a collaborative leadership team, you’ll help shape the spiritual life of the church through:
Pastoral support – being present and available to encourage and pray with people.

Youth ministry – leading and discipling our young people (ages 11–18) and supporting their families.

Preaching & teaching – contributing to Sunday teaching and midweek discipleship (as gifted and available).

Outreach & evangelism – helping the church engage our community creatively and compassionately.

Sunday gatherings – hosting, praying, and supporting worship and welcome teams.

Team building – equipping and encouraging volunteers and emerging leaders.
You’ll work closely with the Church Leader (Lead Pastor) and Leadership Team, with flexibility built in to reflect your availability (18.75–40 hrs/week) and unique gifts.

Who We’re Looking For:

Someone with a genuine and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

A person who feels called to pastoral ministry, with a heart for discipleship, mission, and youth.

Ideally, someone who has some theological or ministry training—or who is willing to pursue biblical and theological training as part of this role (we will support you in that!).

A strong communicator and team player, able to lead with grace, humility, and clarity.

Someone who affirms the LifeChurch Statement of Faith and is excited to invest in our church and community.
